Trace preserves more than the route you ran. It brings together the course, the surrounding city, and the performance details that made the day yours. Each piece is individually composed, 3D printed, mounted, framed, and inspected by hand.

CHOOSE YOUR FINISH

GALLERY — Warm, architectural, and daylight-oriented. An off-white composition and light stone map create a clean gallery presentation.

NOCTURNE — Dark, technical, and dramatic. A charcoal composition and graphite-toned infrastructure create a moodier presentation.

CHOOSE YOUR ROUTE ACCENT

Choose Signal Orange, Volt Lime, or Pulse Pink for the highlighted route. An option to match a color in your race medal is available for an additional fee. Colors may appear slightly different across screens, printed paper, filament, and room lighting.

HOW YOUR ROUTE IS CREATED

OPTION 1 — UPLOAD YOUR GPX

After purchase, you’ll receive a secure intake form through Etsy Messages. You can upload a GPX file, share a public activity or route link, or provide the race details so I can locate a reliable published course.

OPTION 2 — I DON’T HAVE THE GPX

Buying a gift or unable to access the activity? Provide the race name, location, year, and distance. I’ll look for a reliable published course and confirm it in your proof. A sourced course represents the official published route and may differ from the runner’s exact GPS recording.

If a reliable course cannot be found, I’ll contact you before production to discuss the available options.

PERSONALIZATION

YOUR DIGITAL PROOF

A clean digital preview is normally sent through Etsy Messages within 1–2 business days. Please check the route, crop, orientation, spelling, date, location, statistics, finish, and accent color.

One consolidated correction round is included. Reply “APPROVED FOR PRODUCTION” when everything is correct. Production begins only after written approval. Please respond within 48 hours to protect the estimated shipping date; delayed approval may delay shipment.

MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION

The dimensional map and route are 3D printed in PLA. The finished artwork also includes a professionally printed paper composition, backing and mounting materials, a shadow-box frame, and protective glazing. This piece is not ceramic, concrete, stone, or metal.

Because each map is fabricated at a small physical scale, buildings, roads, shorelines, and terrain may be simplified for strength and visual clarity. Trace is commemorative artwork—not a navigation, survey, or engineering map.

PROCESSING AND SHIPPING

A digital proof is normally sent through Etsy Messages within 1–2 business days after your completed intake is received. Once you provide written approval, allow 10–14 business days for printing, mounting, framing, inspection, packaging, and shipment preparation.

The frame is packed with face protection, a protective sleeve, corner cushioning, and a fitted shipping carton. Please retain all packaging until you have inspected the piece.

DIGITAL PRIVACY

GPX files can contain precise location and activity information. Your file is used only to design and fulfill your artwork, is not published or reused, and is handled according to Teklo Studio’s route-data retention policy. Never send account passwords or login credentials.

GIFT ORDERS

You do not need access to the recipient’s fitness account. Send the race name, city, year, and distance, and I’ll determine whether a reliable published course is available. Gift notes may be included at checkout.

Please report transit damage within 14 days of delivery. Include photos of the artwork, exterior carton, interior packaging, and shipping label, and retain all packaging until the issue is resolved.
